Ministry Momentum & Visible Fruit

We are so excited about what God is doing around CFC. Honestly, we can’t pinpoint any one reason, but we are experiencing momentum in many areas, and our ministries are bearing visible fruit. We know God is at work, regardless of what we see, think, or feel, but it is so encouraging when, by His grace, He allows us to notice and experience His activity.

Here are just a few areas where we really see momentum and fruit right now! (Disclaimer: Numbers aren’t the only measure of success, but we do think healthy things grow.)
  1. Our College Ministry has nearly doubled in size, and our students are now serving in other areas of the church and sharing their faith with their peers.
  2. 3 students trusted Christ for their salvation this past weekend at the HSM retreat. INCREDIBLE!!!
  3. 114 couples have committed to our quarterly Grace Marriage retreats to invest in their marriages.
  4. Several people are going through Discipleship Academy, which is an extensive study of God's Word over a 9 month period.
  5. We are seeing people from our community given the resources to help them deepen their faith and answer life's questions through our CFC for You! area.
  6. We have 790 people across 59 small groups focused on growing together in faith and discipleship.
  7. We are experiencing an increase in first-time guests and volunteers.
  8. Our Pre-Teen Ministry (for 4th and 5th graders) just had their largest night attendance-wise, and one student is coming in to talk about baptism this week. Friendships are forming amongst the students, as well!
  9. Pickleball has been a huge hit for our Church Family and our local community.
  10. 70 kids have already signed up for the Middle School Retreat, which will take place in a few weeks.
  11. Several college students have expressed an interest in pursuing vocational ministry.
In addition to all of this, giving has been consistent and over and above where it had been. Family, God does not need our money, but it does indicate that we have a heart of faithfulness when we, His people, give. As a church, it has never been about money and never will be; it’s about hearts! We do believe that when you teach and equip God's people to be good stewards of ALL God has entrusted to them, it will make them lifelong, love-inspired stewards who give willingly and generously. Giving is a form of worship. No matter what you have, we are all stewards of what God has given us. At CFC, we long for our people to give biblically, meaning with a cheerful attitude and not as an act of compulsion.
